In partnership with the iconic Krug Champagne House, Hotel Wailea welcomed 2-star Michelin Chef Justin Cogley of Aubergine at L’Auberge Carmel on October 18th for an unforgettable culinary experience. This year, as Krug celebrated the beauty of flowers, Chef Cogley and Hotel Wailea Executive Chef Ryan Cruz collaborated to create an innovative, flower-inspired menu paired with Krug Grande Cuvée and Krug Rosé.
The evening began in Hotel Wailea’s Treehouse, perched among mango and avocado trees with breathtaking views, where guests enjoyed Krug Champagne and canapés. The experience continued with lei-making in the mango grove, followed by a four-course dinner with Krug pairings in the Garden at The Restaurant at Hotel Wailea—a true celebration of Krug x Flower.

We are delighted to announce that we have joined the esteemed ranks of Krug Ambassades as an official partner to the storied Champagne House amongst the group of world-renowned culinary names. The program currently counts 35 partners in the United States, with Hotel Wailea representing the latest partner to take up the Krug Ambassade mantel.
Year after year, the House honors its savoir-faire by inviting its global community of Krug Ambassade Chefs to interpret a single ingredient, crafting unexpected recipes to pair with a glass of Krug Grande Cuvée or Krug Rosé. An event benefitting The Kokua Restaurant & Hospitality Fund for Maui
Last weekend we experienced magic, hosting The French Laundry for two unforgettable evenings. Our hearts are full and overflowing for every guest who joined us, all in support of The Kokua Restaurant and Hospitality Fund to benefit West Maui hospitality professionals.
Guests enjoyed a nine-course meal led by Hotel Wailea Executive Chef Ryan Cruz and The French Laundry Chef de Cuisine David Breeden. Each course was paired with fine wines from Smith-Madrone, Pulido~Walker, Rivers-Marie, Dominus Estate, Massican, Schrader Cellars and Laurent-Perrier, all curated to complement and enhance the flavors of the dishes.
