A Rare Night in the Garden: Hotel Wailea Welcomes Boulevard

This September, Hotel Wailea is hosting a night unlike any other on Maui. On Saturday, September 19, Chef Nancy Oakes and Chef Dana Younkin of Boulevard, the celebrated San Francisco restaurant on the Embarcadero, will join our own Chef de Cuisine, Emmanuel “Eman” Eng, for a one-night-only collaboration dinner in the garden at the Restaurant at Hotel Wailea. The evening will bring together two distinct culinary points of view, San Francisco’s refined, seasonally driven cooking and Chef Eng’s own modern approach shaped by his years in the Bay Area and on Maui, for a menu that reflects both kitchens at once.

Guests will begin with canapés before moving into a seated four course dinner, with an optional wine pairing available. Limited to just 24 guests, the dinner offers an intimate setting to experience Chef Oakes and Chef Younkin’s cooking alongside Chef Eng’s, in a place neither kitchen calls home but both will shape for the evening. Tickets are $295 per person, and given the size of the dinner, we expect it to sell out quickly.
