Meet your instructor:
Chef Krista Garcia hails from Northern California, and has lived and worked on Maui for three years. She truly believes she is in a chef’s paradise, forming friendships and connections with the farmers and fishermen (and women) who share their local harvest.
Prior to her move, she lived in the Napa Valley for twenty years; teaching at the Napa Valley Cooking School and working as a Pastry Chef de Partie at The French Laundry. She is thrilled to be part of the team at Hotel Wailea, and to share this experience with you!
